After Tim's family ended their association with the Church of Abundant Life, the Caucasian Boys were left without a place to record. Another good idea later, the band decided to record a video album. The reasoning here was not based around the band's boyish good looks, but rather the recording capabilities of a video recorder.

Using the Pool family's video cassette recorder, the band gathered at Matt Pool's family's house in Carthage.
